TGFF’s Next Gen succession exists to cultivate an understanding of philanthropy and build leadership skills for the next generations of the Gibney family. The Next Gen will actively engage all generations offering opportunities, education, and support to fulfill the Founder’s vision that Gibney family carries forward the mission of TGFF.

Succession for The Gibney Family includes two groups based on age:

Next Generation

TGFF’s Next Gen is composed of Gibney family members that have the interest to serve, ages 18 and older, and who do not currently sit on the TGFF Board of Directors. Next Gen members work together to make impactful grants and stay connected on Foundation issues despite being geographically disbursed

Next Generation Jr.

The TGFF Next Gen Jr. group is composed of TGFF family members ages 8 – 17 that have the interest to connect regularly with one another. The purpose of the Next Gen Jr. group is to provide an opportunity for the youngest generation to learn about the family, the Foundation, and the importance of helping others through the Foundation. Next Gen Jr. participants will have the opportunity to make donations, participate in service projects, and stay connected despite being geographically disbursed.
